Learn To Sail Set sail with DYC's Learn to Sail program in 2025! We offer youth  and adult courses throughout the season to develop essential sailing and seamanship skills.

Nestled along the Harbour in Port Dalhousie, DYC offers a unique blend of history and tranquility on the shores of Lake Ontario, with iconic lighthouses, quint shops and restaurants.

Dalhousie served as the entrance to the first three Welland Canals, transforming into a recreational hub after the fourth canal opened in 1932. The Dalhousie Yacht Club, founded in 1937, has since evolved into a vibrant community, reflecting the dedication and camaraderie of its members.
