Send a Child to Camp ($2500)

Making Way to Camp Woodeden

This year, Dalhousie Yacht Club is leveling up our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities. Leading up to our annual Easter Seals regatta, we are launching the Making Way to Camp Woodeden campaign. Our goal is to send one child to Easter Seals Camp Woodeden in London, Ontario, which has a cost of $2500.

Camp Woodeden offers a unique and enriching experience for children with disabilities, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities, build friendships, and create lasting memories. By reaching our fundraising goal, we can give a child the chance to participate in this life-changing camp.

We invite all members and friends of DYC to join us in this meaningful endeavor. Your generosity and support are crucial to achieving our goal. Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate: Every contribution brings us closer to our $2500 goal. You can donate online through our website or at the club.

  • Spread the Word: Share our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks to help us reach a wider audience.

We aim to reach our fundraising goal by September, culminating in a special cheque presentation event where we will celebrate the collective effort and present the funds to Easter Seals ambassadors. This event will be a testament to the generosity of our members and the power of community.

Thank you for your support and participation in the Making Way to Camp Woodeden campaign and the 25th anniversary of the Easter Seals regatta. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
